Beckenham Photographic Society (BPS) encourages the enjoyment of photography and better image making through lectures, demonstrations and competitions, as it has done since its beginnings in 1921. We are forward looking, embracing developments in photographic styles and technology, while maintaining respect for and appreciation of traditional techniques.
The society is a friendly place where new members can develop their photographic interests through a variety of weekly activities described in our programme. We encourage new members to participate in all aspects of the club's activities, including competitions and events throughout the year.
We also have a Better Imaging Group which meets every six weeks or so and is an informal setting where members can discuss their images and share ideas and photographic know-how.

Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 7.45 pm for 8pm on Wednesdays between September and May at:

Come along to one of our Wednesday meetings. We hope that you will find a friendly atmosphere in which to meet others who are keen to enjoy and improve their photography.
Visitors are always welcome.

The market sells paper, inks, film, batteries etc at very competitive prices and is available at most club meetings.
